After some thorough browsing through YouTubeland, I came across what I think are some of the best Thrice covers on the site.



Surprisingly, this musician is a she, and she's fantastic! I'd love to work on something together with her. That would be rad.


I've had a habit of biting my tongue a bit the past couple of days, so in honor of breaking that habit, I think I'm going to PM her. :P




I went ahead and embedded her entire Thrice playlist. "Lost Continent", "For Miles", "Atlantic" (which isn't on her playlist, but is on her page), and "Flags of Dawn" are definitely worth checking out. A few of them are slower than normal tempo, but it works in her favor as I think it fits her somewhat...drifting voice; especially Lost Continent.

Edit: So I did the experimenting I said I was going to do. It's official. I'm gonna do Lost Continent. I came up with some great ideas, and after messing with Premiere a minute ago, I think I can pull off a lot of the audio effects on the original song, or at least get close to it. Weeee!
