Oh, what I would give to spend a day with this band. I've found myself losing interest in technical wizardry, and have fallen in love with a band whose notes that they don't play are as beautiful as the ones they do play, and whose emotion and statements come across in much simpler means of playing. Their latest album is having somewhat of an impact on my life. It's full of Biblical references and inspiring lyrics that can only be labeled as poetry, and for some reason, I just can't put it down. I've never connected with music before, and at this rough point in my life, it's just really...clicking. It might have taken years for me to realize this, but Thrice has never followed a trend and has always put out what's in their hearts, never afraid to try something new.


For me, that's the definition of a true musician.



Time to find some new music.
